The Process

A slow craft, honoured.

Calendula and black seed steeping in golden oil

The Infusion

The heart of every Malaika Botanicals product is a hand-infused oil. We steep calendula, black seed, cloves, nettle and frankincense in cold-pressed olive oil for weeks at a time, never using heat to rush the process.

This patient method extracts the full character of each plant — their compounds, their colour, their quiet aromatic notes — and becomes the foundation of our creams, soaps and scalp oils.

Six steps from garden to glass

01

Source

We source carefully selected botanicals — wild-harvested where possible, organic where not.

02

Steep

Herbs are placed into glass jars with cold-pressed olive oil and steeped by hand for up to six weeks.

03

Blend

Infused oils are gently combined with raw shea butter and complementary plant oils.

04

Craft

We hand-whip, cold-process or cure each formula depending on its character.

05

Package

Filled by hand into amber and clear glass apothecary vessels, sealed and labelled.

06

Deliver

Posted with care from our UK studio in fully recyclable packaging.

By Hand

Every batch passes through our hands

We don't outsource a single step. From dried petals to sealed jar, the entire process happens in our small studio. It is the only way we know to make products we are proud to put our name on.
